Dr. Ida is always punctual, thorough, and engaging. Her staff always makes sure we are comfortable and well taken care of. I love our chats about life when checking in and checking out. Carlsbad Dentistry is awesome!

I’ve been to Dr. Ida Alfonso office for an emergency and she took great care of me. The staff is so wonderful and welcoming, Martha was so helpful guiding me, Alyssa was great with taking my images and guiding me step by step. completely recommend this office.

I came in for a cleaning today and I had the best experience, Everyone was so welcoming and made my visit so comforting, This lovely lady at the front Martha was the cherry on top you can tell every experience with their guests here are special and so genuine. She explained everything so well, Also another girl named Alyssa took care of me and was so so sweet too, I am looking forward to my next visit and trust Dr.Ida to take care of me and help me feel my best. I 100% recommend it here!

I’ve neglected going to the dentist for many years simply because I never felt comfortable—until now. That all changed the moment I stepped into Dr. Ida Alfonso’s office. From day one, I’ve felt completely at ease and genuinely cared for.

Dr. Ida Alfonso is not only incredibly intelligent and skilled, but she also listens attentively and explains everything with such clarity that I always feel confident in her care. I recently had a root canal done, and she did a remarkable job. It’s rare to find a dentist who is both technically exceptional and genuinely compassionate.

Her team is just as amazing. Martha, who works at the front desk, is kind, genuine, and incredibly accommodating. She always gives me a call to remind me of upcoming appointments and is such a joy to talk to. Her warm energy sets the tone the moment you walk in. Michelline brings great humor and helps you feel completely relaxed—even during procedures. Honestly, she almost makes you forget you’re in the chair getting work done!

I’ve already been several times, and each visit has been a positive experience. Even after moving closer to Los Angeles, I’m committed to continuing my dental care here. They accepted me wholeheartedly, and now I can confidently say I’ve found my lifelong dental team.

Dr. Alfonzo has surrounded herself with the perfect staff and together they have created the best dental experience out there. I had been putting off the dentist for years due to prior trauma, but I am so thankful I took the leap to finally call for an appointment. Dr. Alfonzo is knowledgeable and explains everything to you in understandable terms. She took the time fully go over my dental health, and presented several options on how to improve my teeth, gums and my smile — All of this is done in a professional and positive manner.

Bonus! The office does not smell like a dental office! Not sure how they do it, whatever it is, it works! She and staff are second to none.
